Fake! Superman Annual That Never Was!

More art! This time I have an ulterior motive. Inspired by Fred Hembeck's keen recreations of vintage comic book art I decided to take a shot at my own somewhat bent attempt at comic art reinterpretations. This bit of goofiness is up for sale at eBay. It's been a long while since I've sold anything via eBay and I have to say I wasn't too thrilled by all the new fees and rules so this may be my last eBay sale.

By the way, this art is a spoof of the real Superman Annual #7.

Found my way here through ebay. First time I've seen your stuff and well worth seeing it! If ebay falls through I hope you add (or did I miss) a "Buy Orig Art" page to your site.
Weird eBay rule- not allowing even a mention of another site (ran into it myself when I had to sell a Jeffrey Jones painting, and couldn't link people to Jeffrey's site just in case they hadn't seen it.)

I'm considering setting up page for original art sales. It's a bit of work so I'm not sure when I'll find the time but when I do I'll announce it here at the blog.

Scott, unless I'm computing wrong, the auction ends at 7 AM on Sunday. Good day for an auction to end, but a bad time--last-minute bidding often drives up the price on yoru item, but if people aren't sitting in front of their computer or have auto-bidding software, you won't see that extra competition and a higher price.

Thanks for the tip and you are absolutely right. I keep odd hours (I'm mostly nocturnal) and put the Superman art up for auction right after I finished it. My latest auction is set for a more reasonable closing time.
